The Sun

Radiating with optimism and positivity, the Sun represents the source of all life on Earth. The four sunflowers stand for the fours suits of the Minor Arcana, as well as the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. The joyous child, smiling and, here, naked to the bone, rides atop a literal bone white horse, symbolizing the joy of being connected to one’s inner spirit. His nakedness (down to the flesh), shows he has nothing to hide from this world, and retains all the innocence of purity and childhood. And the horse is also a sign of purity, as well as strength. The Sun itself gives you strength, and informs you that your positive and radiant energy will bring you happiness and joy. Your tendency to see the bright side brings warmth to other people’s lives, and they are drawn to you. This energy helps you succeed and get through the tough times. If you see the Sun when times are tough, it is letting you know things will get better! Your path of self discovery has given you renewed energy and positivity towards your future. The Sun will also connect to your inner power, the power that allows you to express and present your authentic self to the world around you.
